A curved glass plate (1) with a light shielding film for vehicle comprising a glass plate, and a light shielding film formed at least partially at the circumferential edge portion, i.e. a film forming portion (11), on one surface of the glass plate. The light shielding film is formed of a stripe film (12) arranged on the outerside at the circumferential edge portion, and a dot-like pattern film (13) consisting of a plurality of dots (14) arranged on the innerside of the stripe film (12). The plurality of dots (14) are arranged such that the distribution of dot shielding rate (value at the top of a peak in the distribution of dot width shielding rate or the dot diameter shielding rate) decreases from the stripe film side toward the glass surface side where the stripe film is not formed (non-film forming portion (15)). The range having dot shielding rate of 50% or more extends 4 mm or more from the edge of the stripe film.
