POLYMER CROSS-LINKING AGENT AND LIPOSOME OR CELL CROSS-LINKED PRODUCT USING THE CROSS-LINKING AGENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that biological polymer cross-linked products prepared by chemically cross-linking biological polymers such as collagen or gelatin through covalent bonds strongly denaturate proteins or damage cells because of being prepared with the covalent bonds, while the biological polymer cross-linked products have been used as a material for the sustained release of proteins or as a three-dimensional culture carrier to perform the sustained release of protein preparations or the regeneration of biological tissues.

SOLUTION: The polymer cross-linking agent having a hydrophobic portion and a hydrophilic portion in one molecule is synthesized and then used to physically cross-link cells, liposomes or cell-liposome mixtures which are lipid aggregates.
