PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assign personnel in consideration of foresighted development of employees.

SOLUTION: The personnel management supporting apparatus is for managing assignment of the employees to each workplace and comprises: an occupational ability management database for storing information indicating transition of performance ability of each employee in association with identification information on each employee; an employee selection request input part for receiving inputs of selection requests of employees who have a designated performance ability; an employee selection part for selecting an employee who has the designated performance ability on the basis of the information indicating the transition of the performance ability of each employee which is stored in the occupational ability management database; and an information display part for displaying identification information on each selected employee.
