<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter for displaying characters, figures and the like without consuming electric power, and to provide a method for manufacturing the color filter, a liquid crystal panel, and electronic equipment thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The color filter 1 has a substrate 10, a first pixel 16a provided on the substrate 10, partitioned by a bank 11 and forming a first pigment film 14a and a second pixel 16b forming a second pigment film 14b.
