PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the ease of damaging of the surface of a lumber and improve the dimensional stability by eliminating the occurrence of distortion due to the change of surrounding conditions. SOLUTION: A laminated plastic-worked lumber LPW1 consists of an inner layer consisting of a plastic-worked IPW1 for the inner layer in which a high-density plastic-worked area HPA is formed partially in the region from the face to the inside of both sides and (2) surface layers consisting of a plastic-worked wood SPW for the surface layers in which a high-density plastic-worked area HPA is formed entirely in the thickness direction, with the surface layers each superimposed on both sides of the inner layer in the same direction of compression working and bonded through an adhesive in an integrated manner to form a three-layer structure. The structure eliminates the ease of damaging of the surface, and the formation of the high-density plastic-worked area HPA in the region from the face to the inside of both sides of the plastic-worked IPW1 for the inner layer improves the dimensional stability without the occurrence of distortion on changing of surrounding conditions owing to balanced characteristics of the front and back surfaces.
