PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for verifying the security of encrypted data and also to provide a means for confirming the correctness of decrypted data. SOLUTION: The encryption apparatus includes: an encryption section; a decryption section; and a random number property detection section, and detects the random number properties of the encrypted data and the decrypted data.
