PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic latent image developing toner and a developer therefor having satisfactory storage stability while assuring low-temperature fixability. SOLUTION: The developing toner is composed of toner base particles containing at least a binder resin consisting of a crystalline resin as a principal component and a colorant, and an external additive, in which the external additive contains inorganic particles of 100 to 300 nm in major axis of primary particles and 3 to 10 in aspect ratio.
