<p>An optical fiber holder capable of holding an optical fiber so as to touch a V-groove in the holder by automatically correcting the bending tendency of the core of the optical fiber and easily positioning the optical fiber. This optical fiber holder comprises a base having the groove for receiving the core of the optical fiber or the core of an optical fiber tape and an openable/closable cover body which has a holding member and is disposed over the groove. A contact part for pushing and bending the core of the optical fiber or the core of the optical fiber tape is provided on the tip of the holding member.</p> |
