<p>The strip has a strip body (2), and an upper closure profile (3) or a lower closure profile is connected at an upper side of the strip body. The strip body is formed as a hollow profile with a hollow channel forming a functional channel (5). A C-shank is provided with a front side opening that is closable with a cover profile (10). The cover profile with its lower end is pivotably connected at the C-shank of a base profile. An independent claim is also included for a molded part of a strip.</p>
