A method of molding wear-resistant coating includes preparation of uniform pins from electro-conductive wear-resistant alloy with their subsequent displacement and uniform arrangement and fastening onthe electro-conductive surface of article. A technological element in the form of a rod, whose one end with the help of soldering is connected with the pin, is preliminarily prepared, another end is fixed in the interlock under the electrode of welding set, with the help of which the pin is displaced on the electro-conductive surface of article, with subsequent excitation of welding arc and its combustion till reaching of permanent connection in the contact area of pin with the article. Upon termination of the process of fastening of pin by electric arc welding technological element is released from the fixed to the article pin with its subsequent repeated use, in this case the cross-sectional area of pins makes not more than 80 % of the area of electro-conductive coating.
