<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purifying apparatus which purifies air in a used space and ambient air anytime during the day or night. <P>SOLUTION: A filter 9 including a photocatalytic agent is housed in a case 2. A filter housing space 6 is divided into a first section 6A, a second section 6B, and a third section 6C by partition walls 11a, 11b, 12a, 12b. The air introduced from an introducing opening 22 passes inside the first section 6A and the second section 6B and is discharged outdoors from an outlet 21. The ambient air passes inside the third region 6C from an introducing opening 24 and is introduced indoors from an outlet 23.
