PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight plasma display device which resists shocks and has little distortions of display. SOLUTION: In the plasma display device, comprising a plasma display panel and a light-transmissive front sheet stuck on the front of the plasma display panel, the front sheet has an electromagnetic wave shielding layer and a shock-absorbing layer stuck on the electromagnetic wave shielding layer, and the shock-absorbing layer is stuck on the plasma display panel, with the adhesive strength between the shock-absorbing layer and plasma display panel being smaller than that between the shock-absorbing layer and electromagnetic wave shielding layer.
