PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seeding device capable of seeding even when continuously transferring both of a horizontal extension roll and a nursery container, and easily coping with nursery containers having different pitch. SOLUTION: At the upper position of a transferring table 7 transferring a nursery container 1 having many pots 2 lengthwise and crosswise, a horizontal extension roll 18 having engaging dents 19 with predetermined spaces in the circumferential direction and the axial direction is formed, and a position detecting through hole 56 indicating the position of the engaging dents 19 and a roll position detecting sensor 57 detecting the position of the position detecting through hole 56 are formed, wherein the sensor 57 is formed so that the engaging dents 19 stop rotation of the roll 18 at the predetermined waiting position by detecting the position detecting through hole 56, and a receptacle sensor 60 sensing transfer of the nursery container 1 is formed in a transfer route of the nursery container 1 so that the waiting horizontal extension roll 18 starts rotation when the receptacle sensor 60 detects movement to the predetermined position of the nursery container 1.
