A mouse and rat trap contains the frame with a longitudinal hole, a spool with a thread, installed on the lower part of the frame, a lateral cut, a manger with net and variable grooves and projections arranged in such a manner as to allow connecting the mouse and rat traps in an unlimited amount. The hole at inlet thereof contains a freely moving locking bar arranged in a niche and limited by cheeks and the thread. The locking bar in the lower part has a cut, in which a contact thread is brought, one end of which is fixed on the spool, and the second one is brought into a groove, made in the upper part of the frame, through the lateral cut and fixed on a rod of the locking bar by a cap. The axis of the spool is arranged in parallel to the longitudinal axis of the hole.
