FIELD: foundry, possibly manufacture of casting molds and cores of melt glass sands. ^ SUBSTANCE: melt glass sand contains, mass%: waste core sand, 75.0 - 80.0; quartz sand with humidity degree 3.5 - 4.0%, 17.0 -20.0; melt glass, 3.0 - 5.0; fluffed waste paper, 3.0 - 5.0; caustic soda, 1.0 - 1.5. Method comprises steps of mixing all ingredients; adding to waste core sand quartz sand with humidity degree 3.5 - 4.0%, caustic soda; agitating them and then adding fluffed waste paper together with melt glass mixed beforehand. ^ EFFECT: lowered shrinkage degree occurred at solidification of sand, increased cracking resistance due to relaxed stresses, improved knocking out capability, possibility of recovering waste materials. ^ 2 tbl |
