<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for polyelectrolyte type fuel cell capable of suppressing performance deterioration of the polyelectrolyte fuel cell accompanying output fluctuation operation. <P>SOLUTION: The separators 9A, 9C for polyelectrolyte fuel cell have reaction gas passage grooves 21, 31 formed throughout the whole face of the electrode contact region surfaces 20, 30. Recessed parts 26, 36 are formed at least at a part of the direct peripheral opposed side walls 21S, 31S in the opposed side walls 21S, 31S which are the side walls directly opposed to the periphery of the electrode contact region surfaces 20, 30 out of the side walls of the reaction gas passage grooves 21, 31 in plan view. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
