OPTICAL MODULATION SYSTEM AND OPTICAL TRANSMITTER PROVIDED WITH THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical modulation system that suppresses increase in interference noises caused by a change in ambient temperature by controlling the amplitude of signals outside the frequency band and to provide an optical transmitter provided with the system.

SOLUTION: An amplitude correction circuit comprising a combination of an attenuator 4 and a thermister 3 is mounted between a frequency out-band signal generating circuit 1 and a coupler 5 to a high frequency signal path. The increase in the interference noises due to a change in ambient temperature is suppressed because the amplitude of the signals outside the frequency band is optimally controlled against the change in the ambient temperature.
