PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To balance the access loads of a storage system used in a network environment. SOLUTION: In the control method of the computer system comprising one or more host computers, one or more storage systems and a management computer, the storage system is provided with a plurality of controllers connected with the host computer through a network and one or more logical volumes for storing data to be used by the host computer, and at least one logical volume is allocated to at least one controller. In the method, when the performance information of the controller exceeds a prescribed threshold, the logical volume allocated to the controller is allocated to a controller other than the controller.
