PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress parallax of an optical real image system finder for use in a digital camera. SOLUTION: A finder unit 6 is fixed to a digital camera through a fixing portion 32. The finder unit 6 is provided with a finder optical system 35 through which a photographer observes an object optically. An optical system 38 for finder image photographs an object image in a range substantially equivalent to the observation range of the finder optical system 35 and acquires a finder image. A common part extraction circuit 97 extracts a common part indicating the same part of a photographed object, respectively, from an image photographed by the digital camera and a finder image and then calculates the coordinate of each common part on each image. A finder control section 90 adjusts the orientation of the optical axis of each optical system 35, 38 such that the coordinate of common part of the finder image match the coordinate of common part of the photograph image.
