摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a minute compression oriented molding, which has little anisotropy in strength, a larger overall strength than a thick molding made by uniaxial stretching in the direction of its major axis, and contains no void even when it exists as a composite article containing a powdery filler. SOLUTION: The invention relates to a compressed molding 1 composed of a crystalline thermoplastic polymer material, which is a compression oriented molding 1 whose molecular chains (crystal) M substantially orientate aslant an axis L of the molding or a plane including the axis and takes shape of radial array or parallel orientation in terms of cross section. The molecular chain (crystal) is oriented by press fit filling a melt molded billet of the crystalline thermoplastic polymer material from a billet housing cavity of a molding die into a molding cavity with small cross section area via a throttle section, at the crystallization temperature of said polymer material; wherein the throttle section is tapered in the inner periphery or slanted at least in both inside surfaces.
