PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protocol conversion apparatus which can simplify an interface function for accessing various data transceiver functions and can be compatible with various operating systems. SOLUTION: The protocol conversion apparatus comprises a data conversion program 23 of Sendto/transmission request conversion for converting a transmission request from a host computer 12 by Sendto which is a socket interface function of general communication into a form which can be processed by a data transmitting device 13 for controlling, and a data conversion program 29 of reception response/Recvfrom conversion for converting a reception response passed from the data transmitting device 13 for controlling while being queued in a receiving queue 28 into Recvfrom which is the socket interface function of a general communication.
