PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk reproducing device which does not use an FG sensor nor an FG servo, and performs spindle servo control by any rotation control method with an inexpensive construction. SOLUTION: The optical disk reproducing device 1 comprises: a controller part 10 for controlling the device main body 1; an optical pickup 2 for irradiating an optical disk 100 set on the device main body 1 with laser light and detecting the reflected light; an RF amplifier 3; an error signal generation part 6; a servo circuit 4; a driver circuit 5; a recording/reproducing part 7; a spindle motor 11 for rotating the optical disk 100; a CAPA signal generation part 16 for generating a CAPA signal based on the reflected light; a CAPA servo circuit 14 for generating a CAPA driving signal based on the CAPA signal; a constant-voltage circuit 9; a selection circuit 8 for switching an input to the CAPA driver circuit 15; and the CAPA driver circuit 15 for performing rotation control of the spindle motor 11 based on an input electric signal.
