PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation and sound insulation door capable of maintaining necessary strength and proper thickness even if it is made of a wooden material and securing sufficient ventilation and sound insulation by a simple machining. SOLUTION: This ventilation and sound insulation door 10 is installed on a door mounting structure installed between compartments in a building to close these compartments so as to be ventilated and insulated. The door comprises a door body 1 in which a through hole 7 for ventilation extending in the vertical direction is formed and having the openings of the through hole 7 for ventilation formed at the upper and lower ends, lower frame members 3 disposed at intervals from the lower end of the door body 1 downward, a pair of vertical frame members 5 vertically extending, joined to the door body 1 and both end faces of the lower frame members 3, and connecting the door body 1 to the lower frame members 3 at intervals, and shielding members 11, 14 closing a ventilation space 9 formed by the lower end face of the door body 1, the upper end face of the lower frame members 3, and the inner side faces of the vertical frame members 5 from one compartment.
