PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyance-placing method of a heavy load and its system for performing the work for conveying and feeding the long heavy load to a side of a leg base and loading it within a limited work area efficiently and inexpensively. SOLUTION: This conveyance-placing method of heavy load comprises a first process for loading the long heavy load 11 on swivel beams 17, 18 loaded on self-propelled conveyance carriers 21, 22 through rotary bases 16, respectively, and arranged by aligning their directions in the longitudinal direction of the heavy load 11, moving each self-propelled conveyance carrier 21, 22 on a transportation passage 14 provided with a clearance between the leg base 12 for loading the heavy load 11 and it, and conveying each self-propelled conveyance carrier up to installation positions, a second process for lifting the heavy load 11 by elevating means 19 loaded on each self-propelled conveyance carrier 21, 22, turning the swivel beams 17, 18, and loading tip sides of the swivel beams 17, 18 on the leg base 12, and a third process for lowering the elevating means 19, loading the heavy load 11 on the swivel beams 17, 18, and feeding out the heavy load 11 onto the leg base 12 by a pushing-out means 20 attached onto the swivel beams 17, 18 to load it.
