PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly separate (concentrate, roughly purify) the phospholipid vesicles of viruses or the like to obtain a good detection (diagnosis) result free from virus breakage inhibition, PCR inhibition, latex coagulation inhibition and the like, and further to automate the operation. SOLUTION: The water-soluble cationic magnetic fine particles are produced by compounding a cationic functional group-having substance, a hydroxyl group-having substance, and a magnetic substance with covalent bonds or physical adsorption.
