The invention relates to a data input device connectable to a station and comprising interface means between a user and said station which are parameterable in order to control the parameters of information programs executed by the station. The inventive data input device also comprises two handles for holding it by two user's hands, respectively, said handles being connected by a link with multiple degrees of freedom. Said link between two handles is connected to a control of at least one parameter which is characterised in that it is embodied in the form of a single-DOF link and connected to the control of a first parameter. Said device comprises a rotatable monodirectional interface means which is arranged near said link, connected to a second parameter and finger-controlled in such a way that the simultaneous control of said parameters actuates said link and the rotatable monodirectional interface means. The use of the inventive device for video games in a virtual 3D universe or for controlling said device in 3D reality is also disclosed. |
