<p>The system (1) has a camera (7) to record an image of a region behind a subject vehicle, and a park electronic control unit (ECU) (2) to produce a bird perspective image from the recorded image. The unit analyzes a combined bird perspective image to detect a rear line of a front obstacle or a front line of a rear obstacle. A display unit (8) is provided to display markings, which indicate space required for parking the vehicle relative to a rear line of the front obstacle or a front line of the rear obstacle.</p> |
