<p>A color filter substrate which can be efficiently corrected when a defective color mixture occurs on the color filter substrate to provide corrected pixels having filter characteristics comparable to those of their surrounding pixels and a production method thereof, and a display unit using them. The color filter substrate comprises coloring layers of at least two colors and a bank on a substrate, wherein the above bank has at at least part of it a film bank unit formed from a bank transfer film, and at least two colors of the coloring layers each has a first coloring layer formed by solidifying a fluidic material and a second coloring layer formed from a color transfer film.</p>
