A position sensor for water-supplying fire-extinguishing device and the type of the fire-cock connected with the motor of the water pump and the address net comprises the signal element interacting with the plunger of the fire-cock of water-supplying device. To increase the reliability of operation, the electronic transmitter of the voltage is included. The signal element is designed as the optical pair of the light-emitting diode and the light-sensitive cell. The input of the electronic transmitter is connected to the outlet of the light-sensitive cell. The first outlet of the electronic transmitter is connected to the light-sensitive cell, the second outlet is connected to the motor of the water pump, and the third outlet is connected to the address net.
