METHOD OF EXTRACTION OF SLIME FROM WATER-CARBON SUSPENSIONS

A method of extraction of slime from water-carbon suspensions includes general two-stage thickening of primary and secondary slimes in the sand cones with the factors of separation in 1st stage - 120-160, in the 2nd stage 320-400 at ratio of solid to the liquid in the supply in stages respectively 1:5 - 1: 6 and 1:7 - 1: 8, and the dehydration of the condensed product. Slimes thickened in the hydrocyuclones of I and II stages are forwarded to the concentration in the screw separators, low-ash products of which are thickened in the additional hydrocyuclones, discharged products of which are forwarded for flotation. The dehydration of thickened slimes of additional hydrocyuclones together with flotation concentrate is carried out on the belt filter press after their treatment with cation and anionic flocculants.
