<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing machine and its color tone controlling method, in which color tone controlling is performed by employing color strips and, at the same time, the cost of printing paper can be saved. <P>SOLUTION: In this printing machine, in which a plate cylinder 13, about the outer peripheral surface of which a machine plate 14 is wound, and a blanket cylinder 15, which is contanctingly arranged to the machine plate 14 so as to transfer the ink on the machine plate 14 onto the printing paper, are equipped under the condition that the machine plate 14 has an ink transferring part 14b for adjusting density in order to form a printing part for adjusting density employed for the color tone controlling of a printed image on the printing paper and the plate cylinder 13 has a plate cylinder independent driving mechanism, which can rotate the plate cylinder in a rotational speed different from that of the blanket cylinder 15, the transferring of the ink on the ink transferring part 14b for adjusting density onto the printing paper is set to be controlled by controlling the relative phase between the phase of the plate cylinder 13 and that of the blanket cylinder 15 with the plate cylinder independent driving mechanism. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
