<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller, which can optimize the time required from the start of a motor till the arrival at its stationary rotation state, an image forming device, and a motor control method. <P>SOLUTION: This motor controller comprises a pulse generator 62 which generates pulses, according to the rotation of a motor 60 for driving a rotor, a counter 70 which detects the number of revolutions of the motor 60, based on the pulses generated in the pulse generator 62, a differential computer 74 which computes the difference between the number of revolutions detected with the counter 70 and the target number of revolutions of the motor 60, a modulated pulse generator 80 which generates starting pulses, based on a preset starting signal, so that the time until the motor 60 gets in the stationary rotation state may be shortest, via an adder 76 and a multiplier 78, at rotation start of the motor 60, and generates pulses of pulse width being modulated based on the difference detected with the differential computer 74 at stationary rotation of the motor, and a driver 64 which drives the motor 60, based on the pulses generated with the modulated pulse generator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
