<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection sheet which substantially produces no mottle such as a white spot and a stripe while substantially maintaining high luminance of a surface light source of a liquid crystal display screen or the like and which gives a reflection plate producing no mottle such as the white spot and the stripe on the surface light source of the liquid crystal display screen or the like and further to provide a surface light source apparatus using the same. <P>SOLUTION: A silver vapor-deposited layer is formed on one surface of a transparent plastic film, an aluminum vapor-deposited layer is formed on another surface thereof, a protection layer is formed on a surface of the silver vapor-deposited layer and a white reflection film is adhered on a surface of the aluminum vapor-deposited layer via an adhesive to manufacture the reflection sheet.
