<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of accurately maintaining a developing gap with a simple configuration, and further eliminating faulty supply of toner to a developing roller and faulty electrification and the occurrence of developing history. <P>SOLUTION: A developing device includes: an image carrier; the developing roller 55 where a spacer 100 is wound and arranged on the peripheral surface parts at both ends, and whose toner conveying surface is provided to be opposed to the image carrier through the prescribed developing gap (g); a supply roller 53 for supplying toner to the developing roller; and a regulating blade 91 abutting on the developing roller. AC bias is applied from one end of the developing roller, and the developing roller and the regulating blade are electrically connected at the other end thereof, then a diode 101 is arranged in a rectifying direction to the developing roller side in an electric circuit formed by the developing roller and the regulating blade which are electrically connected, and a diode 102 is arranged in a rectifying direction to a splash preventing seal material 117 side in an electric circuit formed by the supply roller and the splash preventing seal material 117 which are connected in an electrically floating state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
