PHYTOSTEROL-CONTAINING COMPOSITION

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a phytosterol-containing composition in which a phytosterol is readily and uniformly dispersed in water and which neither crystallizes nor precipitates even in long-term preservation and has high stability.

SOLUTION: The composition comprises a phytosterol and a polyglycerol fatty acid ester obtained by esterifying a polyglycerol having ≤1,200 hydroxy value and ≥50% primary hydroxy group of the whole hydroxy group with a fatty acid as an essential components.
