PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating a terminal of a laminated structure composed of a resin base material and a decorative material laminated on the surface thereof, which can be used for performing a uniform heating treatment and for achieving the magnificent terminal treatment without causing outlook defects such as creases and meandering during engulfing operation. SOLUTION: In the method for treating terminals of margins to be rolled 26 and 123 of the laminated structures 20 and 100, the margin 26 is first heated by a heater 81 in the state that the margin 26 is retained by the suction through applying a vacuum suction force to the end surface 71b of an engulfing piece 71 of a engulfing unit 70, to thereby eliminate heating irregularities. Further, the margin 26 is rolled to the back side of the main body, whilst retaining the margin 26 by suction with the help of the engulfing piece 71 and at the same time, applying a tension to the engulfing margin 26, after thermal softening process.
