PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket for electric parts securing a contact load (repulsing force) of contact pins impressed on an electric-parts terminal by restraining deflection of a pin plate on which the contact pins are formed. SOLUTION: On the IC socket 11 having contact pins 15 electrically connected to terminals of the electric parts housed in the socket, the contact pins 15 are mounted on the pin plate 21, a peripheral edge part 21e of the pin plate 21 is laid on a nearly frame-shaped base member 20, and a support plate 22 is laid on the peripheral edge part 21e of the pin plate 21, by which, the peripheral edge part 21e of the pin plate 21 is to be pinched by the base member 20 and the support plate 22.
