PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner having excellent gloss and printing quality. SOLUTION: The toner includes emulsion aggregation toner particles including a binder including a non-crosslinked styrene acrylate polymer, at least one colorant, at least one wax, and aluminized silica, in which an amount of aluminum metal in the toner particles is from about 50 ppm to about 600 ppm. The toner including the emulsion aggregation toner particles includes a core and a shell. The core includes the binder including a non-crosslinked styrene acrylate polymer, at least one colorant, at least one wax, and aluminized silica. The shell includes a second non-crosslinked styrene acrylate polymer having a glass transition temperature higher than the glass transition temperature of the non-crosslinked styrene acrylate polymer of the core.
