摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient exhaust gas turbocharger. SOLUTION: This turbocharger is provided with an exhaust gas turbine housing 6 provided with a swirl channel S and a turbine storage chamber T connected to the innermost circumference part of the swirl channel S, an exhaust gas turbine 7 provided in the turbine storage chamber T keeping an axis thereof in parallel with the swirl channel S, a shaft 8 concentrically connected to one side in the axial direction of the exhaust gas turbine 7, a bearing housing 16 arranged on the one side in the axial direction of the exhaust turbine 7 adjacently to the exhaust turbine housing 6, a bearing provided in a bearing housing 16 and supporting the shaft 8 rotatably around the axis, and a heat insulating plate 21 put between the exhaust gas turbine housing 6 and the bearing housing 16. A part near an inlet of the turbine storage chamber T of an inner circumference surface of the swirl channel S is composed of the heat insulating plate 21, and a part composed of the heat insulating plate 21 of an inner wall surface of the swirl channel S is formed in a projection part 22 projecting channel-inward more than an upstream part.
