METHOD FOR PREVENTING ACUTE ATTACKS AND TREATING POLLINOSIS

The method for preventing the acute attacks and treating pollinosis provides for the specific allergovaccination with the causative pollen allergens between the seasons of pollination of the causative plants and the use of antihistamine drugs, cromons, and topical glucocorticosteroids in the acute attacks. Two weeks before the presumes pollination of the causative plants, Cetirisin is prescribed at the age-related doses in combination wit the topical cromons four times a day and/or topical steroids stepwise taking into account the severety of the allergic inflammation. The specific allergovaccination with the causative pollen allergens according to the conventional schedule is started in one month after the end of pollination and continues one month before the beginning of the pollination for at least five years.
