PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling roll chock attaching/detaching device which is excellent in safety and capable of enhancing the attaching/detaching efficiency of a thrust ring by using an existing rolling roll having a circumferential groove in a rolling roll shaft part. SOLUTION: The rolling roll chock attaching/detaching device 1 comprises a roll chock 4 with a bearing 5 to support a rolling roll shaft part 3 on the inner side thereof, a retainer 6 which is abutted on one end in the axial direction of the bearing 5, and a thrust ring 7 which is adjacent to the retainer 6, and attached to a circumferential groove 3a formed in the rolling roll shaft part 3 to restrict the movement in the axial direction of a rolling roll 2 via the retainer 6. The device has a two-split structure consisting of a pair of side links 8 and 9 and a bottom link 10, and has a guide link 11 to connect the side links 8 and 9 to each other in an opening/closing manner.
