PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for washing an optical communication part to solve a problem wherein the contaminate, processing refuse or the like in a fine through-hole is not washed sufficiently. SOLUTION: In the method for washing the optical communication part comprising a cylindrical body having the through-hole in its axial direction, a washing solution, which is prepared by adding a surfactant to electrolytic water made by electrolysis used as a solvent, is used to wash the optical communication part.
