PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a cartridge for cleaning water where the facilitation of the structure, the effective utilization of space and the facilitation in the packing operation of active carbon are attained, and to provide the cartridge for cleaning water. SOLUTION: The apex side of a sack 50 is folded to the inside toward the bottom side to form a small triangular pyramid-shaped part P. The sack 50 is arranged inside a case 21 in such a manner that a hollow fiber membrane cartridge 30 is covered with the triangular pyramid-shaped part P. At this time, the sack 50 is arranged in a state where the port is jumped from the opening part of the case 21 to the outside, and also, the port is opened more widely than the opening part of the case 21.
