Signalling of an hazard situation by failure of an hazard monitoring central station

The method involves connecting a danger detecting center with another danger detecting center through an emergency communications unit (NK2) and a communications network (KN). Emergency information related to a dangerous situation, which is detected by a danger detector, is transmitted to the latter detecting center during failure of the former detecting center. A central processing unit (CPU) of the former detecting center is monitored by a monitoring unit with respect to the existence of the failure of the former center. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for signaling a dangerous situation detected by a danger detector (2) a danger detecting system for signaling a dangerous situation detected by a danger detector.
