PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intramedullary nail having a statically fixable or dynamically fixable opening. SOLUTION: This intramedullary nail is used together with a first fastener and a second fastener for use in orthopedic surgery operation. This intramedullary nail includes a body defining the longitudinal axis of the body. The body defines an aperture through the body. The aperture has a first part for cooperation with the first fastener to provide dynamic fixation, and a second part for cooperation with the second fastener nail to provide a static fixation.
