发明名称 Optical coherence tomography depth scanning with varying reference path difference over imaging array
摘要 In a detector for an optical coherence tomography (OCT) apparatus, an object light beam, returned from a target, interferes with a reference light beam. Image information is obtained from a target depth Z dependent on the optical path difference between the object and reference beams, resolution depending on light coherence length. The object and reference beams are directed, by interface optics 14, onto a detector array 21 in overlapping fashion such that they interfere on the array, the optical path difference between the reference beam and object beam varying across the array. Also claimed is the transverse scanning of the target with the object beam and, for each image point, storing a subset of data points and subsequent depth processing and display. The array may be a CCD linear array. The path length may be adjusted via displaceable mirrors 23; polarisation of both returned and reference beams may be controlled 17, 18.
