PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently extract an existing conduit (replacement object conduit) which is increased in pressure loss in accordance with a new pipe construction in a conduit network not in conduit unit (record unit composed of a plurality of existing pipes) but in a unit of an actual pipe level. SOLUTION: Computer analyzing processing based on a database of the conduit network 2 composed of existing pipes such as gas pipes or water pipes is performed to a data file 1 to calculate a pressure loss of each existing pipe involved by a new pipe construction. Each of the resulting conduit pressure losses is converted to a comparative pressure loss PC per reference length, and then compared with a predetermined reference pressure loss PS to specify an existing gas conduit with "PC≥PS" as a replacement object conduit. When a predetermined number (a plurality) or more of replacement object conduits are specified, the further narrowing of a replacement object is performed based on conduit item data such as "how short the conduit is", "how small bore diameter the conduit has", "whether the conduit is more upstream or not", "oldness of material or how earlier the conduit is buried".
