PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve warming-up performance of an engine, while early warming the inside of a cabin in the cold, by improving heat exchange efficiency of an electric heater unit and engine cooling water, in an engine cooling system having the electric heater unit. SOLUTION: This engine E cooling system has the electric heater unit 7, and has a cooling water outlet part 24 formed on a cylinder head 2, and a water outlet member 6 installed in a rear side wall part 2c of the cylinder head 2 for opening the cooling water outlet part 24 and connected with the upstream end of a radiator passage 81. The electric heater unit 7 is installed in the water outlet member 6. Its electric heater 71 extends in the cylinder row direction so that a tip part is positioned in a confluent part of cooling water in the cooling water outlet part 24, and the upstream end of a radiator bypass passage 85 and the upstream end of a cabin heater passage 82 are connected to the vicinity of the cooling water outlet part 24.
