PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignitor for an internal combustion engine having a power switch unit not using soldering and wire-bonding but using conductive adhesive agents highly resistant to thermal stress and external mechanical force. SOLUTION: The power switch unit is placed on a copper frame directly or through a ceramic substrate. An input electrode and a ground electrode are connected to a lead frame. The first conductive adhesive agent is formed between the output electrode and the copper frame in a layer shape, and electrically connects them to each other in the room temperature. The second conductive adhesive agent is formed between an input electrode, the ground electrode, and the lead frame in a layer shape, and electrically connects them to each other.
