The device has a body enclosing an upper cooling chamber and a lower freezing chamber, and a door attached to the body. A cavity (6) is formed in a base of the cooling chamber, where the cavity extends from a front edge to a rear wall of the body. A pullout box (9) is engaged into the cavity in a depth direction of the body in a removable manner. A plate divided into two parts (7, 8) in the depth direction of the body is arranged on the pullout box, and a separating wall is provided between the chambers.
